Dealing With Recurring Yeast Infection
Recurring yeast infection is a huge problem for many people. Perhaps the most common kind is vaginal yeast infection. This is a condition that is passed from one partner to the other. If one partner has a higher level of yeast growth it could be passed on. For this reason it may be beneficial for both partners to be treated for yeast infection. If both partners are not rid of infection then they will be caught in a never ending cycle of re-infection. Yeast infection can become chronic and affect sexual intercourse by making it painful.
A yeast infection may not be life threatening but the symptoms are very unpleasant to live with. It is not easy to ignore itching and burning when you are out in public. Affected areas will become red and in the case of vaginal and penile yeast infection there could be a thick white discharge. A recurring yeast infection should never be ignored simply because you’ve had it before and you know what it is. The longer you leave it untreated the more the yeast can thrive and increase. You could end up with a chronic overgrowth of this fungus.
