A yeast infection of the mouth is also known as ‘thrush’. Thrush looks like a white lumpy coating on the tongue. This white layer is yeast that has overgrown. What you need to consider is that your tongue is a part of larger system; the digestive system and, if you have yeast overgrowth coming out of your tongue, you can bet you have an entire digestive tract full of yeast as well.
