One of the most common infections experienced by women is the yeast infection. Women are more likely than men to get a yeast infection. Because of this, there are numerous different products available at any pharmacy for treating these infections. But, what causes yeast infections in women?
Most women, at some point in their life, will get a yeast infection. Women who use scented products around the vagina are at high risk of getting an infection. This is because the scents can disrupt the PH balance of the vagina, causing an overgrowth of yeast.
